My passion for guiding others around the globe began during my own travels to sixty-six countries across seven continents. As a travel photographer and enthusiast, I gained a lot of insider knowledge on how to get the best wherever I roamed. From there, I grew The Opulent Explorer to what it is today: a modern travel agency with four of the best advisors in the business and senior travel relationships worldwide.
Professionalism is serious for me, which is why I have a certification as a Virtuoso Ultraluxe Travel Advisor, and am a member of both the Top Producers Club and the Board of Directors of the Gifted Travel Network. My eyes and heart were opened to the gift of travel with trips to Scotland, France, and Germany while living and working in London for the summer while I was in college. After graduation, trips to Cameroon, Denmark, Thailand, and Cambodia expanded my world. With a career Foreign Service Officer as a brother, I reaped the benefits of experiencing many new destinations with a local, someone who spoke the language and knew the out-of-the-way, hidden-gem spots.
Now, as a mother of four, travel is the gift that my husband and I share with our children. As your travel consultant, I look forward to sharing my experiences with you, learning about new destinations together, and crafting the perfect gift of travel for you, your family, and your friends.
Substance beyond social—that is my mantra. Raised in the hospitality business and having lived on three continents, my passion for both travel and customer service is unparalleled. Twenty-five years of delivering a white-glove sales experience on Wall Street taught me a critical lesson: Discerning clients have individual needs, and great client service means tailoring my approach accordingly. My client philosophy is to establish trust and build deep working relationships in order to make the travel planning process seamless and stress-free.
